As we can see in this table, over half of those who had experienced cyber-sexual assault reported feelings of distress (e.g., pain, anxiety, suffering, and feeling upset). These feelings, left unattended, can influence our lives. Talking privately or in a group setting, identifying coping strategies, journaling times of distress, and practicing self-compassion can all help reduce feelings of distress.
